After getting back from my walk I made us our usual weekend breakfast of pancakes.
I did a few chores around the house and when it was time for a break we sat out on the front porch. Kenny cut up a cantaloupe and we ate some of that for a snack.
I finally got those first two rows on the afghan completed without a problem and I'm off knitting afghan number 39. I've knitted a couple more rows than this picture shows.
Lunch was eaten on the porch too and afterwards Kenny washed and waxed my car. She is shining and looking good!!! Thanks Kenny, that was so nice of you to do that for me. :-)
I filled up another garbage can of tree branches from the pile out in the back yard. I quit when I got three mosquito bites in a row on one arm.
We put in the Roots DVD to watch the second half and after a few minutes it ended. Yesterday when we thought we watched half, we watched just about the whole thing. So we watched an episode of All Creatures Great and Small. No ice cream tonight, a bit too many calories for today so I had cookies and milk for my snack.
I got a little reading done too. It was a nice quiet relaxing day spent at home.
Hope you enjoyed your Saturday too.
