Another day to keep those windows open. Low humidity, lots of sunshine and some clouds. We are having some great weather for August here in Maryland. Though now I guess we could really use some rain, but hopefully it will hold off for gramma jo's vacation to DC.
I got another load of laundry hung out on the line. It's amazing how much laundry two people can accumulate. Did a few more things around the house and then it was time to head out for a Meals on Wheels delivery. I only had 4 people again. I think my newest lady has cancelled getting meals because it's been a couple of weeks now since I've delivered there. Too bad, we were just starting to hit it off. Mrs P is doing fine and Mrs W was excited because the church right behind her house is having some big event outside tomorrow and she can watch it all right from her back yard.
I saw another one of those Smart cars driving around today - this one was red - boy are those things tiny, but really cute!!
Hey Deb, there is a new Maggie Moos in the new town of Maplelawn on the other side of 29 up Gorman Rd. I saw them putting up signs for it. Went to investigate where it is and it's across from Trapeze.
After a late lunch I played around on the computer for quite a while and before long Kenny was home from work already.
No ice cream for me tonight - I was in the mood for some chocolate chippers and some milk. I knitted while we watched the second episode of Roots. The series is very good but hard to watch as it is so upsetting to see people being treated so horribly.
A read a bit more and I'm now about half way finished with Lisey's Story.
Well, here it is Friday again and I hope your's was a good one. These weeks sure roll around fast.

That's the one Stephen King book I actually bought and never finished. Let me know how it ends.
Good news on the Maggie Moo's!
I have only ever been able to watch certain things once because I find them too upsetting. Roots is one of them...Schindler's List another.
Glad to hear there is good weather in your area. Even if it rains it's okay because even the weather couldn't damper my excitement of getting to see my boy!!
Have you ever been to Charm City Cakes? Is it very far away from the airport?
Time flies whether you're having fun or not, so we might as well have fun.
This month has been great. I hear the humidity is supposed to come back tomorrow and maybe rain on Monday?
Hope your day was happy!
